As a child I never had a dream
I grew up
Taking life the way it came
Scolding never made me upset
Going school was always a fun
I slept in peace
Waking every morning super fresh
So bright were the days
Unlike the ones I experience today
I have become more sane
Perhaps more prudent too
But I suffer nights full of murky dreams
Pile of my unfulfilled desires
Requiem of my incompleteness
Nature’s beauty now not soothes me
Its so nonchalant my innocent past
Haunting my present leaving me aghast
Can’t I learn to be careless again?
Just like the times when
As a child I never had a dream!!!

its sad to read ur poem coz the hope is bestowed upon us mortals in the form of DREAMS only… its bad to have murky dremas in night and sleep full of dreams but whats important is having a dream while awake.. in childhood we use to make dreams which were seemingly imposssible then ut which are possible today.. the problem lies when we grow up we do not let our dreams grew with us…Hope u find a dream to live on…. soon
