Mangalore a small city with salubrious weather recently witnessed the brutalities of the moral policing. The question which arises of such a heinous activity is that What should supersede… Culture or Modernity??? A question to ponder upon specialy for we the youths… Give your opininon and lets elaborate and find solution to this intriguing question!!!!!

modernity and culture have to ,in a country like india, go hand to hand! If we say culture should be totally discarded then the result is not what INDIA is to be like or is known to be like! on the other hand..modernity too has to come in..positively though.. being INTRANSIGENT is not gonna help.. we need to change..but proportional change is acceptable..change is inevitabe..madernity and culture shade into each other.. this mangalore issue is nothing to do with either of the two things.. i.e. neither modernity nor culture..it was frustration of some maniacs..politically insulated.. they do what they feel like and then give it a socio-political character..For India, Moderntiy (positive) is welcome but culture is soul of this country..but yes again to end this-what happened in mangalore was a CHEAP SHOT..thanks!
